ONE WHO CHERISHES UNDERSTANDING WILL SOON PROSPER.

“Tuesday, 3 October 2023 Today's Word of Hope:The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out. Proverbs 18:15 (NIV) A "perceptive" individual can see and understand what is going on around them. Perceptive people are smart, clever, and skilled at recognizing or figuring out problems. In Jesus' parable of the farmer sowing seed in Matthew 13, the good soil represents people who embrace and thoroughly absorb God's word by listening carefully and genuinely. They cultivate a life of faith that bears fruit through their acts and behaviors by allowing God's word to take root deep within their hearts. In this sense, being perceptive means being responsive, alert, and genuinely open to God's teaching, which leads to a life of abundance and fruitfulness. 1. And what about you?2. Do you prioritize listening to others or watching what is going on around you more than conveying your ideas and thoughts? # Develop the habit of observing and listening.# Be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who communicates many times through situations around you.# Seek God's knowledge and understanding in order to acquire insight into all circumstances. # Be diligent in using the knowledge gained through your understanding.# You will become a more effective leader. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please enable me to be a perceptive person and an effective leader in whatever I do. Amen”
