GOD'S PLANS FOR YOUR FUTURE ARE TO PROSPER YOU AND TO GIVE...

Tuesday, 12 September 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) Long ago, in a time when Israelites faced uncertainty, there lived a prophet named Jeremiah. God spoke to Jeremiah, giving him a specific message of hope and a future. God’s people had been taken captive from their homes and suffered difficulties. However, God promised to return them and give them a bright future.This promise was for all who trusted in God. Jeremiah shared this message with the people, reminding them that even in difficult times, God had a purpose and a plan. It was a message of hope, reminding everyone that God cared deeply for them. Later, God fulfilled His promise and rebuilt the nation of Israel. * Today, we can hold on to this promise, too.* Just as God had plans for the people of Israel, He has plans for you too.* No matter how horrible your current situation is, His plans for you are filled with hope and a bright future.* So, do not give up your hope, but cling to His promises and keep walking in His ways. Questions for Reflection: 1. Can you recall moments in your life when you felt uncertain or faced challenges, yet God’s plans ultimately brought hope and goodness?2. Reflecting on Jeremiah’s story, how can you trust in God’s plans for your life, knowing He desires a prosperous and hopeful future for you? Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to keep trusting you and your plans for my future, even when the current situations are challenging. Amen.
