Proverbs 25:28 (NIV) One of the necessary qualities for God’s children to have a victorious life is self-control. It is very important to overcome temptation. While being tempted by Satan, Jesus exhibited self-control. According to the Bible, if you lack self-control, you are like a city with crumbling walls. Look up to Jesus and ask Him to give you this nature. Then you will be victorious. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please grant me more ‘self-control’. Amen.
