Proverbs 10:9 (NIV) The apostle Paul was known not only for his tireless missionary work but also for his unwavering Integrity, especially when it came to fundraising. One of the most well-documented fundraising efforts by Paul is the collection for the Jerusalem church. In his letters to the Corinthians and the Romans, he urged the wealthier churches in Macedonia, Achaia, and Galatia to contribute to a relief fund for the impoverished Jerusalem church. His fundraising efforts were marked by transparency, accountability, and a focus on the needs of others rather than personal gain. In his letter to the Corinthians, he wrote that he wanted to avoid criticism of how he administered the gifts from people. Paul ensured that trustworthy individuals were appointed to oversee the collection and distribution of funds. His approach emphasized the importance of honesty, transparency, and selflessness in handling financial resources, reflecting the core principles of Christian stewardship.
