Friday, 22 December 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Luke 6:36 (NIV) God, in His kindness, has redeemed us from the grips of darkness and brought us into His magnificent light. Having been cleansed by the blood of Jesus and granted citizenship in His Kingdom, it is our duty to serve as His delegates in this world. This refers to demonstrating God’s nature to everyone around us. One of God’s most significant characteristics is mercy. Never forget God’s mercy in your darkest hour or every time you messed up in the past. Do not be harsh on others, but instead offer mercy and kindness. # Every time you demonstrate mercy to others, you bring them one step closer to Jesus.# People may frequently take advantage of our kindness and softness toward them.# However, let us not stop being gentle and merciful.# We may eventually help people who are not sincere to realize their faults and turn back to God if we keep on being merciful to them.# So, do not grow weary of doing good. # The Christmas season is a beautiful reminder of God’s mercy toward humankind, and let us reflect that to others. Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me be merciful to others in the same way you have been merciful to me. Amen.
