Wednesday, 8 November 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Then Jesus said to his disciples, ’Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Matthew 16:24 (NIV) Following Jesus comes at a price. Following in His footsteps and teachings is critical, yet it is not simple. Because the world despises Jesus, it will also despise His disciples. Difficulties and challenges in carrying out His commands become a cross for those who wish to follow Him. When we live upright lives, people who like to manipulate things unjustly in their favor will have problems. When we are truthful and live with integrity, it creates a significant difficulty for those who report to you or your supervisors, especially regarding corruption and malpractice. In such cases, individuals may try to accuse you of wrongdoing and hinder your progress and achievement. However, being a child of God,# To win over others, you must be willing to let go of your ego in various situations.# You must yield to God’s plan and give up your personal plans and ideals. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me yield to your thoughts and ways rather than mine. Amen.
