LISTEN TO THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS AND FOLLOW THEM TO BE A WISE...

“Tuesday, 7 November 2023 Today's Word of Hope:Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2 (NIV) Xenial refers to displaying hospitality, kindness, and generosity towards strangers or guests. A xenial person welcomes and treats others warmly, making them feel comfortable and valued. They embrace cultural diversity, promote inclusivity, and create an atmosphere of acceptance and friendship that transcends boundaries. Abraham demonstrated this quality when he hosted God's angels, who pretended to be strangers passing by Abraham's tent. Abraham did not recognize them as angels of God until they revealed their true identities. Even though he had no idea who they were, Abraham was polite and friendly to them, providing them with delicious food and care. He received God's blessings in return. How hospitable are you? # In today's world, it is becoming too risky to patronize strangers. However, it is essential to be kind and hospitable to everyone.# Not every stranger is a bad person.# So, let us not be critical of others, especially those unknown to us.# But ask God for the grace to discern people and their intentions to deal with them appropriately. # Let us be kind, loving, and caring to others, showing the love of Jesus in action.# Try to understand their needs proactively and provide all that you can.# Live in such a way that others should long to spend time with you.# Let the love and warmth of Jesus flow through your words and actions. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to be kind and hospitable to others, showing your love and warmth. Amen”
