If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him. 1 Kings 18:21 (NIV) Being decisive reflects one’s confidence level. The opposite of decisive describes individuals who have difficulty making choices. Indecisiveness often stems from a combination of factors, including a lack of confidence, a fear of making the wrong decision, overthinking, and a tendency to overanalyze situations. Indecisiveness can lead to procrastination and inefficiency as individuals struggle to make choices and initiate action. Moses, the patriarch who led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, stands as a testament to the power of decisiveness. Despite his initial hesitation, Moses stepped up to accept God’s calling, demonstrating unwavering determination in guiding his people toward freedom.
