Today’s Word of Hope:Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4 (NIV) Long ago, in the land of Bethlehem, a woman named Naomi faced a series of hardships. She had lost her husband and two sons, leaving her a widow with her daughters-in-law, Ruth and Orpah, in a foreign land. When Naomi decided to return to her native country, she encouraged her daughters-in-law to stay with their families. Orpah tearfully said her goodbyes and left, but Ruth clung to Naomi, showing unwavering loyalty. She said, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God my God.” God blessed Ruth’s loyalty to Naomi with a future filled with blessings. We can see Jesus was born in her lineage. Questions for Personal Reflection: 1. What does loyalty mean to you, and how do you demonstrate it in your personal relationships and commitments? 2. In Ruth’s story, her loyalty led to unexpected blessings. Can you recall a time when your loyalty or commitment to someone or something resulted in positive outcomes or personal growth?
