THINK ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE EXCELLENT AND WORTHY OF PRAISE.

“Philippians 4:8B (NLT) * Our thought processes significantly influence our attitudes, emotions, and behaviors.* Just as a gardener carefully tends to the flowers, we must cultivate and nurture our thoughts.* By consciously focusing on positive and elevating thoughts, we cultivate an environment conducive to spiritual development. In chapter 10 of Luke, Jesus visits the house of Martha and Mary. While Martha was busy making preparations, Mary chose to remain at Jesus' feet and listen to His teachings. We may see Mary's decision as ignoring her responsibilities or being unhelpful. However, Jesus praised her decision, saying, "Mary has chosen what is superior, and it cannot be taken from her." Mary's act of sitting at Jesus' feet exemplifies the principle of concentrating on excellent and praiseworthy things. * Like Mary, choosing to focus on what is great and praiseworthy will offer a deep feeling of fulfillment and meaning to your life.* Take the time to sit at the feet of Jesus through prayer, reading His Word, and spending time in His presence to enjoy His wisdom, peace, and love.* You will experience a wonderful sense of fulfillment in your heart and mind. Prayer: Lord Jesus, help us to choose what is excellent and worthy of praise by prioritizing time with You above all else. Amen”
