Friday, 28 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Fear not, I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 (NKJV) * Fear is a natural emotion that can grip our hearts when facing obstacles and uncertainties.* Fear opposes faith, and the two are constantly at odds in our minds.* Are you afraid of your enemies or life’s twists and turns?* Do not be scared. In 2 Chronicles 20, you can read about King Jehoshaphat, who was afraid when confronted with a formidable enemy alliance. In his distress, he appealed to God for guidance and help. The Lord spoke to Jehoshaphat through a prophet, reminding him that the war was not his but God’s. Reassured by the promise of supernatural help, Jehoshaphat and his people worshipped and glorified God in the face of their foes. God intervened as promised, defeating the enemy alliance without Jehoshaphat’s soldiers lifting a sword. * This narrative reminds us that God is our refuge in times of adversity.* Fear will go away When you rely on His strength, and you can face life’s obstacles with assurance.* Just as God sustained Jehoshaphat’s hand in battle, He will also sustain you as you navigate the trials and uncertainties of life. * God assures you that you are not alone in your trials and tribulations.* He is an ever-present help in times of need and is always willing to lend a helping hand.* Never fear. Jesus is constantly by your side. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please fill my heart with the assurance of your help and strength during all my challenges. Amen.
