Friday, 21 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:The LORD will give strength to His people. Psalm 29:11A (NKJV) * God is the source of strength for all who follow His ways.* He will give you the physical, spiritual, and emotional strength to handle things.* Are you feeling worn down and exhausted by life’s endless battles?* The Bible says, “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles.” The story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17 is an excellent reminder of how the Lord strengthens His people in times of adversity. David, a young shepherd boy, faced a ferocious warrior named Goliath. Though David appeared small and inexperienced in comparison, he had unwavering faith in the Lord. God gave unique wisdom to David, and he defeated the mighty Goliath with just a stone and a sling. This demonstrates the strength and power of God at work. * Likewise, God continues to give strength to His people.* In times of weakness and weariness, go to God and get renewed strength and empowering grace.* God’s strength covers every aspect of your life.* He strengthens your faith, willpower, relationships, and inner being. * Seek His strength and guidance daily, acknowledge your dependence on Him, and surrender your weakness to His power.* His strength is sufficient for you. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please give me strength to overcome the challenges of this world. Amen.
