Tuesday, 1 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:The LORD will bless His people with peace. Psalm 29:11B (NKJV) * Peace is a gift from God.* God desires to bless His people with peace.* Jesus promised to give His peace to all who follow Him.* His peace is incomprehensible to humans and not produced through human effort. In the New Testament, we read about a tumultuous storm on the Sea of Galilee when Jesus and His disciples were sailing through. A fierce storm arose as they sailed across the sea, and the waves threatened to capsize their boat. As the winds howled and the water surged, fear gripped their hearts. In their anguish, they awoke Jesus, who was sleeping in the boat, and cried out, “Lord, save us!” We are going to die!“ Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea with a simple command, saying, “Peace, be still!” The fierce storm stopped immediately, and a profound calm settled over the waves. * The Lord’s peace is not dependent on our circumstances but on our relationship with Him.* When we trust in His sovereignty and rest in His love, we can experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.* It is a peace that guards our hearts and minds, even amidst life’s trials. * Are you struggling in life without peace, or are you longing to have that inner peace?* Come to Jesus.* Surrender your worries, fears, and anxieties to Him.* He will fill your heart with His peace. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please fill my heart and mind with your peace. Amen.
