Philippians 4:13 (NIV) * Confidence is a by-product of Faith and reflects the depth of one’s personal relationship with God.* We may confront problems, obstacles, and uncertainties in our fast-paced and demanding environment that break our confidence and leave us feeling powerless.* However, it is critical that we are prepared to deal with such difficult situations and thrive in life. The story of David is a powerful example of unshakable confidence in God’s strength. He never feared the wild beasts while protecting his sheep in the wilderness or while facing the seemingly insurmountable challenge of a giant named Goliath. David had an intimate relationship with God and knew the power of the Almighty. He was bold enough to proclaim it and displayed Faith in his action. No wonder God stood by His side and enabled him to defeat Goliath with just a sling and a stone. * Are you struggling with a lack of confidence?* Is your mind overwhelmed with information about all the problems and challenges that are going around? * Why don’t you intentionally fill your heart and mind with God’s word?* It will open your eyes to knowing your creator and increase your Faith in Him.* Such knowledge will empower you with the required confidence to overcome life’s challenges and be successful. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please open my eyes to know you more and fill me with confidence. Amen.
