Today’s Word of Hope:Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV) * The term “sanctify” refers to the act of setting something apart for holy purposes or cleansing it from sin.* As God’s children, we are expected to strive for holiness, as He is holy.* The Bible emphasizes that without holiness, no one can see God.* If you find yourself burdened by past mistakes, do not succumb to guilt and internal suffering.* Instead, come to Jesus just as you are. The story of the woman at the well in John 4 is a powerful reminder that God can sanctify and transform us even when we are broken and engrossed in sin. Despite being from Samaria, a people who were not even considered God’s people during those days and known for her immoral lifestyle, Jesus did not judge her. Instead, He had a life-changing conversation with her. He chose to reveal His identity to her, which ended up transforming her life to be His witness. She went on to tell her neighbors about Jesus, and many of them came to believe in Him. What an amazing transformation in her life! * Jesus is still the same and can transform your life from all your past and present filth of sin.* If you allow God to sanctify you, He will use you to reach out to others with His love. * Do not be weighed down by the criticism of others or those who try to condemn you and make you feel ridiculous about yourself.* Instead, trust in Jesus, surrender your life to Him, and experience the life-transforming power of His sanctification, which makes you holy. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please sanctify me from all my filthiness, Make me Holy, and help me to live a holy life until the end. Amen.
