Monday, 17 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1 (ESV) * The waiting period is challenging in our lives.* We often complicate matters when we try to solve problems on our own rather than relying on God.* However, if you trust God and wait patiently without giving up hope, God will appear at the appropriate time and exhibit His magnificence. In the Bible, we read the story of Hannah, a woman who longed for a child. For years, she endured the pain of infertility and the heartache of unfulfilled dreams. Hannah cried out to the Lord in anguish, pouring her soul before Him. With unwavering faith and patience, she waited upon the Lord, trusting that He would hear her cry. God saw Hannah’s fervent prayers and answered them. In due time, she conceived and gave birth to a son named Samuel, who became one of the world’s greatest prophets. * Like Hannah, you, too, maybe waiting in despair or on the verge of losing hope and questioning God’s plan.* It may be for a breakthrough, a healing, a restoration, or a long-awaited desire.* But remember that God is faithful and is never late in His timing.* As He heard Hannah’s cry and answered her, He will do the same for you.* Yes, He hears your prayers, knows your needs, and responds according to His perfect plan and timing. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please give me grace and strength to wait patiently for your time. Amen.
