Sunday, 16 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:2 (NIV) * Worship is not about performance or impressing others.* Rather, it is a priceless opportunity to meet the living God, to be in awe of His presence, and to adore Him as He truly deserves.* You can express your worship with gladness through various means, such as singing, prayer, reading Scripture, or acts of service, fully knowing that our Creator delights in the sincere worship of His people. One such occasion is found in 2 Samuel 6 when David brings the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. With great rejoicing, he dances before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod. His worship is unbridled, genuine, and marked by exuberant joy. David’s worship reflects his deep love and awe for God, unencumbered by self-consciousness or concern for others’ opinions. * Yes! Worship is a response to our God’s greatness, goodness, and faithfulness.* you can experience a profound connection with your Creator through heartfelt worship.* It is an overflow of gratitude for His unfailing love, salvation, and grace. * Worship Him in the spirit.* Worship Him for all He is and has done for you.* Use your voice and instruments to express your joy and offer praise to God.* Remember, when you worship, God Himself rejoices over you and showers abundant blessings upon you. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please give me a heart of worship. Amen.
