Thursday, 18 April 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. I Peter 1:23 (NLT) As a born-again child, you are a new creation in Christ with a renewed spirit and a fresh outlook on life. However, like any other newborn, this new life requires careful nurturing. Constantly looking for God’s word from others is not the solution. The written word of God has already been given to you. It contains all the wisdom and guidance you need to live a fulfilling life in Christ. Furthermore, Jesus, the living word, dwells inside you; therefore, you can hear His voice within you. Living by the word of God is not always easy, especially in a world that often values things that are contrary to His teachings. However, if you obey God’s instructions, your new life in Christ will endure forever. Therefore, take time to read, understand, and live by the word of God. Doing so will ensure that you will not perish. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, please grant me the grace to understand your word and live by it. Amen.
