Saturday, 20 April 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:The one who plants and the one who waters really do not matter. It is God who matters because He makes the plant grow. 1 Corinthians 3:7 (GNT). It is crucial to always do your part with sincerity, dedication, and commitment. However, depend on God for success because the success of any of your efforts and ventures comes from Him. Some people are lazy and do not work. But they will pray earnestly in the last moment or when the deadline approaches, asking God for success. And when they fail, they try to blame God or fate for it. However, God does not favor lazy people. Instead, He blesses those who are sincere, humble, and hardworking. Therefore, it is essential to avoid procrastination, laziness, and complacency and instead strive to work diligently and honestly. Then, there is another group of people who work hard but depend solely on their own knowledge, wisdom, and influence. They believe that success is all about their efforts, talents, and achievements. However, when they face failure, disappointment, or setbacks, they tend to get depressed, frustrated, or hopeless. But the Bible teaches about the ideal way. That is, we should do our work correctly and depend on God for Success. Don’t lean on your own understanding. Rather, learn to live a life of always leaning on God. Then you will be successful. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, please help me depend on you for success and do my work diligently. Amen.
