Monday, 25 December 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:All the people of my town know that you are a woman of noble character. Ruth 3:11 (NIV) A Moabite woman named Ruth is mentioned in the Bible. She lost her husband at a very young age. Despite this, she remained loyal to her husband’s mother. She made a very bold decision to be with her mother-in-law and follow her God and the lifestyle. Yes, she decided to follow the ways of God. She exemplified moral excellence and lived purposefully, serving God and her mother-in-law with humility and grace. She was pious, sincere, and hardworking in the new place and never compromised with her gentleness. She carefully followed the instructions of her mother-in-law, who was guiding her to get established in life in the new place. In later years, we see Jesus was born in her lineage. # Today, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, let us think of Ruth and resolve to live a noble life like her.# A life like this will naturally emanate the fragrance of Jesus, and you will be a blessing to many more people. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me be a noble person and a faithful witness for you. Amen.
