Tuesday, 29 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV): * God’s gift of faith is crucial, and practicing faith in our daily lives makes God very happy. * It enables us to believe in God’s promises even when circumstances appear uncertain. The story of Abraham and Sarah exemplifies faith in the unseen. God promised them a child in their old age, though they were well beyond their childbearing years. Despite the physical impossibility and years of waiting, they held onto the assurance of God’s promise. Their unwavering trust in God’s unseen plan was rewarded when they were blessed with a son named Isaac. * Like Abraham and Sarah, you may face impossible situations, but God’s power transcends your limitations.* Remember that faith is not based on what you see but on who God is.* As you navigate the unknown, please anchor your heart in the assurance of His promises. * Get rooted in His words and reflect on them daily to strengthen your faith.* Stay away from all negative remarks and criticism to guard your mind.* God, who sees your heart and faith, will surely reward you exceedingly and abundantly well in His time. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me with the gift of faith and the grace to walk in faith. Amen.
