Wednesday, 30 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. 2 Timothy 2:13 (NIV) * Our God remains faithful even when we struggle with doubts and find it hard to trust Him and follow His ways.* He remains faithful in His love for us, patiently waits for us, and assists us in returning to Him with clear conviction.* Similarly, there are some excellent examples in the Bible of people who excelled in their faithfulness despite struggles and challenges. One such example is the story of Job, which provides a unique perspective on God’s unwavering faithfulness. Job, a righteous man, faced immense suffering and loss, including his children’s deaths, health, and wealth. Even as Job questioned his circumstances and grappled with despair, he refused to curse God. During his trials, Job clung to the understanding that God’s character remained faithful and just, regardless of his circumstances. God rewarded Job for his faithfulness and restored all that he lost, including his children. * You, too, may be facing similar situations.* However, do not give up on God.* Seasons will change, and joyful days will replace the difficulties you are experiencing today. * Hold on to your faith in Jesus and continue to remain faithful to Him.* He will never abandon you. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me remain faithful to you in the midst of all my challenges. Amen.
