Wednesday, 1 November 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:We should hold fast to the confession of our hope, unwavering; for the One having promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 (BLB) God is faithful, and His promises are true. Unwavering faith in God and His promises is an essential component of the Christian way of life. Without faith, no one can please God, says the Holy Bible. In the Christian walk, situations may sometimes look contrary to the promises of God and what we believe. He is the creator, and His ways are far higher than ours and too difficult to comprehend. Trusting God involves humility and total submission to God’s plans and abilities. On the contrary, a proud heart will be arrogant, disbelieving, and trusting in our own abilities rather than those of God. The story of three Israelite men named Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego talks volumes about what unwavering faith is. Even at the time of being thrown into the fire, they were bold unafraid of death. They openly confessed that they would keep trusting in their God, even if God fails to rescue them from the fire and death. God did honor their unwavering faith, and we read how the Lord’s angel appeared by their side inside the furnace and kept them safe. # Do you believe in God, His timing, promises, and abilities?# To what extent do you believe in your abilities, and what are your thoughts about relying on God to carry out your daily activities and plans? Prayer: Lord Jesus, please strengthen me with a heart of unwavering faith in you. Amen.
