Wednesday, 2 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 1 Corinthians 9:22 (NIV). * This verse demonstrates Apostle Paul’s tremendous compassion and adaptability, meeting people where they are and identifying with them.* He interacted with them without jeopardizing his Christian identity.* His main goal was to save people and bring them into God’s Kingdom.* Similarly, Jesus was observed moving with the poor, destitute, and sinners. Joseph’s experience in Genesis 37-50 demonstrates his extraordinary adaptability in a variety of situations. Joseph continuously adapted to his circumstances while being obedient to God, from being sold into slavery to being wrongly accused and imprisoned. God used these experiences to transform and position him as Egypt’s leader and savior. * Your current life journey may be packed with ups and downs and situations requiring you to move with individuals from diverse cultures, religious views, and lifestyles.* You are called to exemplify the nature of adapting to conditions and challenges while being true to your identity in Christ.* That way, you can reveal Christ’s nature, which will be a strong witness for the Lord. * Never condemn others for who they are; instead, learn to empathize with them and help them experience Christ’s love and goodness in you.* Let your deeds speak louder than your words. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, please help me be everything to everyone, without compromising the truth, but by showing them your kindness and understanding. Amen.
