Wednesday, 9 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NIV) * In the beginning, God created Eve as Adam’s partner, emphasizing that it is not good for a man to be alone.* During Jesus’ evangelism training for His disciples, He sent them out two by two.* Yes! Two is preferable to one.* It emphasizes the significance of collaboration.* The world’s economy has undergone drastic changes, with even large companies embracing collaboration to expand their market share and thrive. When we read the book of Nehemiah, we can see the collaborative approach of Nehemiah to gathering the remnants of Jerusalem and motivating them to start the restoration of the destroyed walls of the city. Nehemiah’s collaborative leadership was evident as he encouraged the people to work side by side, each taking responsibility for a specific portion of the wall. Despite facing opposition and challenges, they remained united in their purpose, supporting one another and trusting in God’s strength. The collaborative effort of the people led to the successful completion of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. * Do you possess this vital characteristic?* Do not be a loner or try to do everything alone.* Become collaborative and create healthy partnerships in ministry, career, and business.* Be receptive to such relationships and be willing to share your time and resources with others.* Through collaboration, you will experience growth and success in life. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to be collaborative and open to nurturing Godly fellowships. Amen.
