Monday, 31 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Romans 14:12 (NIV) According to Matthew 25, a wealthy man entrusted his assets to three of his servants before embarking on a journey. He gave five talents to one, two talents to another, and one talent to the last. The first two servants invested and multiplied their talents diligently, doubling their master’s wealth. The third servant, however, buried his one talent in the ground out of fear and complacency. When the master returned, he summoned his servants to give an account of their stewardship. * This parable emphasizes the significance of being accountable to God.* We shall all have to stand before God one day and account for our acts, decisions, and how we lived our life on Earth.* God has given you particular abilities, talents, and resources, and He wants you to use them wisely in accordance with His plan and purposes. * You are called to be faithful stewards of God’s blessings, not to keep them hidden for greed, selfishness, fear, or complacency.* You must devote your time, talents, and resources to loving and serving others, spreading the gospel, and glorifying God.* This also emphasizes how closely your heavenly father watches over you and provides for your needs.* Be bold and confident. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me be accountable for everything you give me. Please help me to live up to your expectations and bring honor to your name. Amen.
YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD.
