Beauty from the Broken 🎨
Today’s Word: 📖 “I am making everything new.” — Revelation 21:5 (NIV)
Daniel found the old acoustic guitar in his grandfather’s garage, its neck warped, strings rusted, and the wood cracked down one side. Anyone else would have thrown it out — it hadn’t been played in years and looked beyond saving. But Daniel saw something worth the effort. Night after night, he worked in the garage, replacing the strings, steaming the wood back into shape, and refinishing the body until the grain shone through again. By the end of the month, the instrument that had once seemed ruined was making music again, richer than before. 🎸
In the same way, God looks at our broken pieces, our past mistakes, and our worn-out hearts, and He doesn’t see something beyond saving. He sees an instrument worth restoring. He does not set us aside when we are damaged; instead, He patiently does the slow, careful work of making us whole again. No matter how warped or silent things may seem, God is actively at work, tuning our hearts and giving us a new song to sing.
Response: 🚶♂️ Identify one area of your life that feels broken or silent today, and consciously hand it over to God, asking Him to begin His work of restoration in it.
Prayer: 🙏 Lord, thank You that You do not give up on my broken pieces, but You lovingly restore them. I place my life in Your hands today, trusting in Your power to make all things new. Amen.
