Making Room 🚲
Today’s Word: 📖 “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24 (NIV)
Leo wanted a bicycle for his tenth birthday. His father, a man of his word, smiled and promised, “I’ll take care of it, son.” Even though his birthday was still two weeks away, Leo didn’t just sit around and wait. That very afternoon, he went into the crowded family garage. He swept a dusty corner clean, organized the garden tools, and pushed aside the lawnmower to make a perfect, empty parking spot. When his older sister asked what he was doing, he beamed, “Making room for my new bike.” He didn’t have the handlebars in his hands yet, but his active preparation proved he fully trusted his father’s promise. 🚲
In the same way, praying with faith means preparing our hearts for God’s response before we see it with our eyes. True belief is not just wishing; it is trusting the character of our Heavenly Father so deeply that we begin to make room for His answers. When we pray according to His will, we can step out of anxiety and into a posture of expectant preparation, knowing God is already at work.
Response: 🚶♂️ Identify one thing you are praying for, and take a practical step of faith today to prepare your heart or your life to receive God’s answer.
Prayer: 🙏 Father, help me to pray not with doubt, but with the expectant heart of a child who trusts Your word. Give me the faith to clear space in my life for the beautiful ways You are already working. Amen.
