Sunday, 22 October 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. Proverbs 16:9 (NIV) Strategy can mean relating to or characterized by careful planning, often to achieve a long-term goal. Strategic thinking is seeing the big picture and developing plans to achieve long-term goals. Strategic thinking is essential in all areas of life, from business to personal development and ministry. It can help us make correct decisions, allocate our resources more effectively, achieve our goals more efficiently, and live more fulfilling lives. God has given us the ability to think and plan. However, success depends on whether our plans align with God’s and when we depend on God’s counsel and guidance. In the Bible, we read in multiple places about the leaders seeking God’s counsel before making important decisions, both during the war and in general administration and project management. The Bible talks about King David regularly seeking God’s guidance before making important decisions, which was the secret to his success. # Do not be a person who makes hasty decisions all the time.# Cultivate the habit of analyzing the situation, understanding the pros and cons, and seeking God’s counsel before making a decision.# Then you will be successful in whatever you do. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to be a strategic person in all that I do and align myself with your plans and thoughts in all areas of my life. Amen.
