Thursday, 26 October 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:3 (NIV) Being transparent in decision-making ensures ethical and fair practices. Transparent systems promote trust and security in the minds of all stakeholders. It will eliminate unwanted misunderstandings and assumptions, resulting in a smooth running of life at work and home. Apostle Paul set a good benchmark and system in the missional life for transparency. Paul was honest about his struggles with weakness and temptation. Paul’s willingness to reveal his vulnerabilities and challenges demonstrates his transparency. He did not pretend to be flawless but instead relied on God’s grace and power even in his moments of weakness. 1. How transparent are you in your personal and public life?2. Do you tend to hide things all the time, or do you confidently share your point of view, your difficulties, failures, and successes? # Transparency improves your credibility.# Nurturing a transparent life will also help you to be accountable to others for your words and actions. # Unfortunately, we do not hear much about the importance of transparency these days since people like to be free of accountability.# Whereas the Bible clearly tells us that we are accountable to God even for our words. # Be transparent in your policies, decisions, and life principles, create credibility, and be an effective witness for Jesus. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me be transparent in all aspects of life. Amen.
