Friday, 24 November 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes. Psalm 119:125 (NIV) Today’s world has multiple doctrines and theologies. Not everything is correct. Jesus warned about false teachers, especially in the last days, who will daringly pervert the truth in the name of God for worldly gains and personal benefits. All that glitters is not gold, goes the famous saying. Therefore, discerning the truth from fake and false teachings is crucial. The people of Bereah during the days of the apostle Paul were careful in listening to his words and then cross-examining them against the Word of God. They did not blindly accept all that he spoke. Instead, they spent time learning the truth and then following it. # Do you spend time reading the Word of God and dig deep to understand it?# The Holy Spirit is the great teacher within you, and if you listen to Him, He will lead you in every truth.# Do not follow the preachers mindlessly.# Listen to them, but analyze their words against God’s Word and follow if they are correct. # Do not fear men, but fear God.# You cannot blame anyone, including the preachers, for your wrongdoings.# You are responsible for your life and actions.# It is safe to seek God’s discernment to understand and follow the truth. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please give me discernment to differentiate and pursue the truth. Amen.
