ANYONE WITH EARS TO HEAR SHOULD LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND.

“Sunday, 12 November 2023 Today's Word of Hope:Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand. Matthew 13:9 (NLT) Attentive means paying close and careful attention. This ability is essential for success in many areas of life but is often overlooked. Attentive people tend to be observant and detail-oriented, and they learn more effectively, perform better at their occupations, and develop more lasting relationships. Mary and Martha were sisters who both loved Jesus. However, they expressed their affection in unique ways. Mary was more interested in learning from Jesus, whereas Martha was more concerned with serving Him. When Jesus came to their house, Mary sat at His feet, listening to His teachings. At the same time, Martha was busy with other preparations. Jesus praised Mary's devotion, saying, "Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her." Similarly, we must pay attention to others, especially when they share their issues and concerns. How attentive are you when dealing with other people's difficulties and issues? # People long to have somebody listen to their heartaches.# If you are a parent, you must be attentive to your children.# If you have parents, then you should be attentive to them.# As a leader, you should be attentive to all your subordinates and mentees to understand them. # Be a role model for others in displaying this quality.# Then, you will be a successful leader. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please enable me to be attentive to your voice as well as the concerns of others. Amen”
