Tuesday, 23 May 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord. Lamentations 2:19 (NLT) * Hannah in the Bible is a beautiful example of prayer.* She was extremely distressed because of her barrenness and chose to pour out her pain and anguish to the Lord. * The chief priest could not understand her pain and mistook her crying for drinking.* But God saw her heart’s cry and responded to her by granting her request* You, too, may be going through deep disappointments, or other people may misunderstand your cry for relief.* People may fail to understand your pain, but God does. * So, it is better to trust God than humans.* Pour your grief, hurt, disappointment, shame, and every other emotion to God.* Spend time in prayer personally as a friend, and pour your heart out like water.* Do not hold back anything.* You will not be disappointed. Prayer: Lord Jesus, here I come, bringing all my burdens and worries. Please listen to me and solve my problems. Amen.
