Friday, 5 May 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge. Ruth 2:12 (NIV) Ruth, a Moabite woman, decided to leave her native land and follow her mother-in-law Naomi when she decided to return to Israel. Ruth chose not just to be with Noami but also to follow the God of Israel. When they returned to Israel, Ruth went to work in the fields, and Boaz, the landowner, spoke these words of blessing to her. You may also be experiencing a strange circumstance, such as living among strangers, residing in a foreign country without a secure foothold, lacking a stable income or employment, etc. But if you remain committed to following Jesus in all your ways, as Ruth did, He will not abandon you. Jesus will reward you for your faith, integrity, and faithfulness. Don’t you think that every good thing in your life has ended? Don’t give up. Just cling to Jesus. Under His wings, you will have refuge. Even if you see darkness and no action around you, you should remind yourself that God is at work. He will execute His plans for you right on time, which will be a pleasant surprise and blessing for your life. So, continue to do your work sincerely and truthfully. The labor of your hands would never go in vain. Yes, your work will be rewarded at the right time, and the joy that comes with it will be beyond your comprehension and expectations. Prayer: Lord Jesus, I come under your wings. Please reward me as per your promise and help me live a joyful life. Amen.
