Friday, 25 October 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge. Ruth 2:12 (NIV) Ruth, a Moabite woman, chose to leave her native land and follow her mother-in-law Naomi to Israel. Ruth not only decided to be with Naomi but also to follow the God of Israel. When they returned to Israel, Ruth worked in the fields, and Boaz, the landowner, blessed her with these words of encouragement. You, too, might be experiencing a difficult situation, such as living among strangers, residing in a foreign country without a secure foothold, lacking a stable income or employment, and so on. But if you remain committed to following Jesus in all your ways, as Ruth did, He will not abandon you. Jesus will reward you for your faith, integrity, and faithfulness at the right time; the joy that comes with it will be beyond your comprehension and expectations. Prayer: Lord Jesus, I seek refuge under your wings. Please fulfill your promise to reward me and help me live a joyful life. Amen.
