Wednesday, 25 September 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:From a sincere heart love one another earnestly. 1 Peter 1:22 (DRB) Even after becoming king, David maintained his sincere affection and friendship for his friend Jonathan. David heard about Mephibosheth, Jonathan’s son, and brought him to live in the royal palace. David loved Mephibosheth, even though he was crippled and could not help him much. David treated Mephibosheth like his own son and gave him a place at his table. This is a beautiful example of sincere love. Today, many people forget about even close friends when they are out of sight. “Out of sight, out of mind” is a famous saying in English.How sincere are you in remembering and maintaining relationships irrespective of situations and distances? Do you maintain family and friendships over generations?Be sincere in showing God’s love to everyone around you. By doing so, we can make the world a better place. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me be sincere in loving one another. Amen.
