Friday, 3 May 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6 (ESV) The world we live in and everything we earn, save, accomplish, and experience will eventually disappear. Our earthly relationships and family will also come to an end. However, having Jesus as our Shepherd and Savior offers us the gift of eternal life with Him. This is the only permanent blessing we can truly count on. When we invite Jesus into our lives, He dwells within us and fills us with His unfailing love. We become the temple of God. By growing in our intimate relationship with Him, we can walk in His footsteps, and God will rejoice over us. In our life in this world, we will not lack anything good, and indeed, goodness and mercy will follow us. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me remain intimately closer to you and enjoy your goodness and mercy throughout my life. Amen.
