Sunday, 27 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV) * As God’s children, you should set an excellent example through your words, actions, and purity.* It does not matter what we preach or how much we preach.What matters is how we live, which makes an impact on Jesus. The Parable of the Good Samaritan exemplified compassion and selflessness by assisting a wounded stranger. His actions stood out and spoke out against the hypocritical behavior of religious leaders who walked by the wounded man without offering any kind of help. The Samaritan demonstrated God’s love in action, and his actions speak louder than words. * Being an example means living by the values we say we believe in.* Our authentic love, kindness, integrity, and humility reflect Christ’s heart and significantly impact lives more than any preaching.* Another verse in the Holy Bible adds, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. * Living as an example of what you believe will allow you to convey Christ to everyone appropriately.* God, who sees your genuine actions, will be keen to bless you and strengthen you to be a blessing to many more. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to be a living witness for you through my exemplary behavior. Amen.
