Thursday, 24 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:If we endure, we will also reign with him. 2 Timothy 2:12 (NIV) * Life on this earth is undoubtedly challenging for God’s children.* However, God allows the challenges in our lives not to destroy us but to make us strong and to build us with Godly characters.* Endurance is one such character that defines our amount of faith amid challenging situations. * You will observe endurance in action from conception to childbirth, education, and related examinations to qualify for degrees and jobs, overcoming difficult times at work to achieve promotions, and so on. Look at the story of Joseph. Joseph’s journey was difficult, involving everything from having his own brothers sell him into slavery to false accusations and unjust imprisonment. Despite those challenges, he remained steadfast in his faith in God. By enduring the trials through faith, he eventually rose to prominence in Egypt, becoming a trusted advisor to Pharaoh. Joseph’s endurance led to a season of reigning in a position of authority and influence, where he was able to save many lives during a time of famine. * The trials we face on this earth are insignificant in comparison to the eternal glory that awaits those who persevere in faith.* Enduring through difficult circumstances may not be easy, but it is a testament to our trust in God’s sovereignty.* As you navigate life’s challenges, remember that your faith-filled endurance has the potential to lead you to a place of spiritual reign alongside Christ. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me endure the challenges without giving up my faith. Amen.
IF WE ENDURE, WE WILL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM.
