Saturday, 28 October 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.Proverbs 19:5 (NIV) God is the truth. But Satan is the father of lies. One distinct quality of every child of God is being truthful. God hates lies and blesses those who are truthful to Him. Are you a truthful person? Life in this world is very challenging, especially if you are truthful. Malpractices, negative manipulation for selfish gains, and unethical behaviors based on lies are becoming more common everywhere. People survive and thrive on lies. In the Bible, we read about a person named Naboth, who was stoned to death by the city elders as part of Queen Jezabel’s malicious plan. She organized false witnesses against Naboth and got killed as per her plan. However, God, who was watching this, made her accountable for the evil and punished her. So, let us not take things for granted. # God is watching over the intentions and actions of every person.# He will reward each one according to the action, and all evil will be brought to justice in time.# Stay away from lies and being a false witness.# Stand firm for truth.# You will not be moved. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me stand boldly for truth and let me be a truthful person in all areas of my life. Amen.
