This spirit is a gift from God and is closely connected to our emotions. When our spirit departs from our body, we are pronounced dead. According to the Bible, when we accept Jesus as our Savior, He dwells within us as a spirit and works to transform our inner nature. This spiritual transformation enables us to display godly qualities in our daily lives. It guides us in our actions and helps us recognize areas where we may need to grow.
