Friday, 29 March 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV) The cross stands as a symbol of hope and redemption for all who believe in Jesus Christ. It is the ultimate expression of God’s love for humanity. However, not everyone accepts the message of the cross. Yet, those who have believed and accepted it have experienced the life-transforming power of Jesus and hold a special place in their hearts. Even though many still ridicule Jesus and His cross, the love of God and the power demonstrated through Jesus can never be hidden or forgotten. This power continues to transform lives and bring healing to the brokenhearted. The message of the cross reminds us that there is always hope for a better tomorrow, no matter our current situation. Don’t condemn yourself even if you are struggling with the burden of sin. Instead, come to Jesus just as you are. Open your heart to Him and allow Him to intervene in your life and transform you. The message of the cross is the power of God, and it is available to all who believe. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for taking the punishment of death for us on the cross. Please help me to believe in you wholly and experience your life-changing power. Amen.
