Sunday, 27 October 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:14 (NLT) God is calling us through Jesus Christ for the heavenly prize. This is only possible when we finish the race successfully. Our life is a race, and it is a difficult one. Our self-nature, the world we live in, and Satan all work against us from successfully reaching the finish line. Paul faced similar problems but also had a solution. He didn’t get stranded with every failure he faced, nor did he stop running because of depression. Instead, he kept pursuing the heavenly prize. We, too, should keep moving and press on, forgetting our past. Don’t stop or quit because of your guilt. Whatever your situation or failure, Jesus Christ still loves you and wants to help you finish the race. Don’t keep turning back at past defeats and lose focus on your future. Press on. You have a prize waiting for you. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me press on towards the heavenly prize you have kept for me. Amen.
