Thursday, 29 February 2024 Today’s Word of Hope:If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. Matthew 6:14 (NLT) One of the most powerful teachings of Jesus is about forgiveness. He taught that if we forgive those who sin against us, our Heavenly Father will forgive us. This principle emphasizes the importance of forgiveness in our spiritual lives. * Do you hold any grudge against someone?* Are you struggling to forget the wrongdoing or harm committed by others?* Holding such incidents in your heart without forgiving them can hurt your health.* Also, God won’t forgive you if you don’t forgive others. Forgiveness is often challenging to grasp. Without forgiveness, you can’t enter heaven. Forgiving may be difficult, but if you seek God’s help, He will give you the grace to forgive even your enemies. The more you forgive others, the more you will be forgiven for your own transgressions. The act of forgiveness frees us from the burden of bitterness and resentment. It allows us to let go of negative emotions and move forward with our lives. Moreover, forgiving others is a reflection of the love and mercy that God has shown us. When we forgive, we follow in the footsteps of Jesus and demonstrate His love to the world. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, please grant me the ability to forgive those who have offended me. Amen.
