Wednesday, 17 May 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 1 Corinthians 9:24 (NKJV) * Paul, the Apostle, used an athlete as an example of how we should live Christ-centered lives. * You should run the race with a clear mind and a strong will, determined to do your very best for God’s glory.* God has promised that your efforts will be rewarded.* You have to run to get the prizes, and you should never be lazy.* You should put your whole heart and mind into whatever God has given you to do.* God expects you to use your hands productively. * “A slack hand leads to poverty,” says the Bible.* God has given you time, so don’t waste it.* Be self-controlled and follow the rules in your life.* Endure patiently in all your tribulations, always rejoicing in the Lord, and run the race with confidence.* Yes! Run to win and get the prize. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me win the race and get the prize. Amen.
