Sunday, 26 March 2023 Today’s Word of Hope: I will not forget you. Isaiah 44:21 (NIV) * What an incredible promise!* Isn’t it wonderful to have God’s assurance that He will not forget you? * You may sometimes feel entirely forgotten, even by people you thought were extraordinarily close or treasured.* Indeed, such occasions will be very disappointing and painful.* But consider God, who loves you eternally.He swore that He would never forget you. * In this world, the most potent love is a mother’s love.* Today, however, we hear and see many moms abandoning their children.* But God’s love is unchanging.* He has etched you into the palm of His hand and can never desert you. * If you’ve gone astray, repent and return to Jesus.* He will forgive you and wrap His arms around you.* Whenever you feel alone and crushed by worry or disappointment, tell yourself that God is there for you and has not forgotten you.* Yes! He will not forget you. Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for your assurance that you will never forget me. Please help me to live my life with this confidence. Amen.
