Monday, 24 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you. Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) * In life, we often carry burdens that weigh us down.* These burdens can be physical, emotional, or spiritual, causing us to feel overwhelmed and weary.* However, God is inviting you to cast your burdens on Him.* Isn’t it incredible? Look at Moses in the Bible. As the leader of Israel, he was overburdened by numerous obstacles and hardships, such as a food shortage, enemy attacks, and the Israelites’ refusal to cooperate at various points. Moses pleaded for grace and favor from the Lord. God faithfully sustained them as promised, providing manna from heaven, water from a rock, and protection from their enemies. * You can also enjoy this favor of God, just as Moses and the Israelites did.* His sustaining power provides you with strength, comfort, direction, and provision.* Bring your problems, anxieties, and challenges before the Lord and place them at His feet.* When you keep your burdens on the Lord, He will sustain you.* He will preserve you through difficult seasons, give rest to your weary soul, and cover you with His peace. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please sustain me and help me enjoy your peace and rest in my soul. Amen.
