Monday, 3 July 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:I will certainly keep you safe from these wicked men. I will rescue you from their cruel hands. Jeremiah 15:21 (NLT) * Jeremiah was a prophet and was persecuted for delivering God’s warning messages to the Israelites.* Despite this, he stayed committed to God throughout his life.* Are you being persecuted because you are righteous, kind, and sincere?* Today’s journey may be challenging, especially as you pass through dark times.* But never lose hope and never give up. A similar incident occurs in the Bible. In the book of Daniel, we witness Daniel’s three friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, being persecuted for refusing to bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image. They remained faithful to God despite the possibility of being thrown into a flaming fire. They miraculously walked out of the flames unharmed because God had shielded them. * Yes! Our God is the same, and He will defend you from those who persecute you.* Do not be afraid of evil people.* God is greater than all those who carry out evil plots against you.* He will protect and safeguard you.* Continue to live righteously and to share God’s blessings with others. Prayer: Lord Jesus, keep me safe in your hands and protect me from all evil men. Amen.
