Sunday, 17 December 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back…because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Luke 6:35 (NIV) # Ungrateful actions are excruciatingly painful to bear.# Sadly, there are a lot of these people in this world.# It is human to seek revenge for such ungrateful actions.# However, Jesus demonstrated a different example.# Yes! Instead of taking revenge and condemning such people, He showed kindness to them.# Peter denied and cursed Jesus to escape from being caught by the religious leaders.# However, when Jesus rose from the dead, He met Peter in person and restored him from his wickedness. # Being kind to such people is not easy, but it is not impossible.# Be filled with the love of Jesus and show this kindness to those who are ungrateful to you.# Forgive the wicked and help them come back to Jesus.# You have been chosen to reflect the nature of Jesus in this world. # Even if it is painful or looks foolish to human eyes, do not stop from being Kind.# Your reward in heaven will be much greater. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please fill me with your love and help me be kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Amen.
