Thursday, 17 August 2023 Today’s Word of Hope:The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. Psalm 145:13b (NIV) * In a world filled with uncertainties, doubts, and broken promises, it is truly comforting to know that we serve an unwaveringly dependable God. One of the best examples of God’s dependability is found in the story of Noah. In a time when wickedness and corruption had spread throughout the earth, God chose Noah to build an ark and preserve life during the impending flood. For decades, Noah diligently followed God’s instructions, building the massive vessel despite the skepticism and mockery of others. Yet, in the face of adversity, he remained steadfast and dependable, trusting in the promises of God. And just as God had promised, Noah and his family were kept safe within the ark when the floodwaters came. The Lord proved Himself faithful and dependable, honoring His covenant and preserving the righteous. * The story of Noah underscores the importance of trusting in God’s dependability and being dependable in our commitment to Him.* Just as God kept His word, we are called to uphold ours, demonstrating dependability and faithfulness in our relationships, obligations, and service.* How dependable are you in your day-to-day life? * Allow your words and deeds to reflect God’s faithfulness, allowing people to experience His nature through you.* Don’t be afraid of life or its hardships as long as you remain dependent on God.* He will never let you down. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me be a dependable person in my words and actions. Amen.
